The purpose of the Social Studies Teacher Leadership Meetings is to support the ongoing development of a diverse group of secondary educators in grades 6–12 who are committed to strengthening their instructional leadership and professional practice. These meetings are designed to build educator capacity through collaboration, shared learning, and meaningful dialogue that promotes continuous growth and effective leadership. By fostering a strong network of teacher leaders, the initiative aims to enhance instructional practices, support student-centered learning, and ultimately improve student achievement across secondary social studies classrooms.
