The Classroom Environment Teaching Assessment (CETA) is a tool from START to be used as a proactive and preventative approach to establishing effective classroom practices. The tool aligns with evidence-based practices and helps to improve the classroom environment for ALL students. The goal is to ensure all students are supported so they can make progress in the Least Restrictive Environment and the collaborative problem solving process helps teams set priorities and monitor progress towards goals. This tool is used as part of a tiered support process for development, implementation, and fidelity purposes. Our target audience are general education & special education teachers. IEP team members, tier 1 & tier 2 team members, and START coaches.
