This two-day training is designed to deepen understanding and application of identified high-leverage instructional practices for secondary teachers and building leaders. Participants will focus on identified Tier 1 instructional strategies with strong effect sizes that can be implemented immediately in the classroom, including: Building Academic Vocabulary; Graphic Organizers, Concept Maps & Notetaking; Class Discussion and Student Voice; and Formative Assessment — all grounded in the foundation of increasing Teacher Clarity. Time will be given for participants to plan for implementation of one of the practices between sessions.
