This PL aims to provide 6-12 teachers with the skills and knowledge to incorporate reading strategies and skills into subject-specific instruction. Teachers will learn how to identify and address the literacy demands of their content areas, and how to use a variety of texts and materials to support students' reading comprehension and critical thinking skills.
