This group will be the driving force to move math forward in the county. Specifically, our work will target: -Student engagement strategies -Math mindsets -Equity in mathematics, both in opportunity and learning experience -College and career readiness and supporting STEM careers -Developing the next generation of AP and Advanced math students Our elementary work will focus on MDE’s call to action related to the Early Math Essentials and making math accessible for all students, while eliminating barriers for traditionally marginalized groups.
