The Teachers of Challenging Behavior Community of Practice is a group dedicated to supporting those teachers who are in charge of educating Special Education students K-12 who present with difficulties managing their behavior so they can access the general education setting and curriculum to their fullest potential. This year's focus will be on the resource Classroom 180. Classroom 180 is a resource to help with strengthening support in developing a Trauma Informed Classroom. This year participants are encouraged to bring a team to the COP. This ongoing Community of Practice will utilize guest speakers, provide evidence-based resources, and allow for the collaboration of support throughout the county. Participants attending will be given check-ins and support from the Teacher for Emotional Impairments, Angie Grindel.
