Description
A death within a school community is a traumatic event that disrupts the primary purpose of the school. Learning is difficult when students and staff are dealing with strong emotions, such as grief. The goal of this course is to provide school administrators with guidelines to create effective policies for dealing with a death in your school community, and to increase the awareness of school staff members regarding the valuable role they can play in response to a death in their school community.
